A Little More About This Project
A very interesting and characteristic garden. There were many elements to this garden which were were carefully considered and designed to meet the client's requirements of the use of space and final planting plan.
London Stone Harvest Sawn Sandstone was installed to a patio and small seating area. A reclaimed gate and posts were installed aligned with the front door to compliment the historic charm to this property. A Chelmer valley clay pavior pathway was installed dividing the patio area and water feature area.
New oak sleepers were used to construct symmetrical raised beds with a centred large water feature. The garden pathways were edged with steel edging and infilled with Cotswold stone chippings. They followed precise radial points to create curves and arcs in the garden to link all of the planting areas and give shape and structure to the garden.
A reclaimed feeding trough was installed and utilised as a natural wildlife pond. Post and rail perimeter fences installed to support Hornbeam Hedging. Espalier fruit trees placed to create a natural screening and division to garden sections.
A tumbled pavoir was installed in front of the garage doors and new verge lawn to the external perimeter. A very decorative and unique garden which we will return to every so often to update our photos as the planting establishes and matures.
