M. Withall Landscapes have the answers
What if I don’t know what I want or where to look for inspiration?
We get it. It’s easy to feel intimidated by landscape design. Too many choices lead to feeling overwhelmed, and you’re scared of making an expensive mistake. Don’t worry! Design is what we do best. We start every project by sharing ideas, pictures, mood boards and samples of past projects. We’ll walk you through all the options until we achieve your desired look, budget and level of maintenance.
Can I see drawings of the design?
Yes. You’ll not only get a paper copy of the design, but also a full digital preview so you can see what the finished project will look like. Make as many changes as you like until you’re happy.
Is any of the work outsourced?
Absolutely not. This is personal for us. We do all the work ourselves and have a strong stake in making you happy.
How much will my new garden cost?
Every project is unique and the cost will vary depending on the size, complexity and choice of materials. If you’d like a ballpark, or just want some inspiration, get in touch [link to contact] to arrange a no-obligation consultation.
To give you an idea, understand that creating a completely new front and rear landscape requires at least as much work as adding an extension to your house. For large projects, 4 to 10% of the property value is a realistic investment figure. If you simply want a new patio or driveway, then you should expect to pay between 1% and 3% of your property’s value.
Can I get a free initial consultation?
Yes! Because every garden is different, it’s impossible to give you a quote without seeing the space and talking through your dreams and wishes. The initial assessment is always free and there’s no obligation. It’s your chance to explore whether we’re the right fit for you without being handed a bill.
May I source the plants myself?
You can but … we can probably source them cheaper. As a pro landscaping company, we’ve partnered with the top commercial nurseries to offer you great deals that aren’t available to members of the public.
How long will the transformation take?
We try to keep construction time as low as possible, but it depends on the project. As a rough guide, you’re looking at 1-2 weeks for a new driveway or patio. Some larger gardens may take many months to finish, especially if you need planning permission. And we live in the UK, so it also depends on the weather! We’ll give you a detailed programme right at the start so you know what’s happening and when.
